Andrew Kerin is Executive Vice President, ARAMARK Corporation and Group President, Global Food, Hospitality and Facility Services.
Mr. Kerin was elected as an executive officer of ARAMARK Corporation in November 2004.
Under his leadership are 230,000 employees in all of the company’s global food, hospitality, and facility businesses including the management of professional services in healthcare institutions, universities, schools, business locations, entertainment and sports venues, correctional facilities, and hospitality venues in 22 countries across the globe.
From January, 2004 through April, 2006, he served as President, ARAMARK Healthcare and Education where he led a team that managed ARAMARK Healthcare Management Services and ARAMARK’s Education group serving the higher education market and the K-12 segment with both food and facility services.
Prior to this, Mr. Kerin was President, ARAMARK Facilities and Healthcare Group. In that capacity, he led the company’s healthcare support services and facility services businesses, including ARAMARK ServiceMaster Facility Services, which provided food and nutrition, laundry and linen, plant operations and maintenance, clinical equipment maintenance, energy and technical services, housekeeping, grounds keeping and other services for clients in the business, sports and entertainment, education and healthcare sectors.
Mr. Kerin is a former president of ARAMARK’s Correctional Services business and Facility Services group. He joined ARAMARK in 1995 as vice president of facility support services.
Prior to joining ARAMARK, Mr. Kerin was vice president with the Ogden Corporation, where his responsibilities included the leadership of Ogden’s education business and strategic planning for the facility services division throughout the US and Canada.
Kerin is also a member of the President’s Council at Fordham University and a member of the University of Delaware’s Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management Advisory Board. He is also on the Board of Trustees for City Year, Inc. and was named the 2008 Hospitality Executive of the Year by the Penn State Hotel and Restaurant Society.
Mr. Kerin received his Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in 1985.
