Awards

2009:

• Joan O’Shaughnessy, CEO, ARAMARK Ireland, was named to a list of "Women Worth Watching" in the September/October issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal. Women in this prestigious group were nominated by colleagues, peers and mentors for their business achievements and personal contributions.
• ARAMARK Germany received a Profiles in Diversity Journal “Innovations in International Diversity” award for the innovative approach it has taken to advance diversity in the workplace and in the communities it serves. This honor was highlighted in the publications July/August 2009 issue.
  

2008:

• Named one of the “40 Best Companies for Diversity” by Black Enterprise magazine for fourth consecutive year. 
• Dennis Maple, President, ARAMARK Education, was named one of 2008"s "100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America" by Savoy Professional magazine.
• ARAMARK's Sports & Entertainment President Liza Cartmell was recognized by the Profiles in Diversity Journal for its list of 2008 Women Worth Watching.
• Awarded the Irish Hospitality Institute Diversity Award for 2008.
• Recognized as one of Germany's Top Employers by Karriere (Career) magazine. 
• ARAMARK's Chicago Staffing Center was awarded an Employer Recognition by the Safer Foundation for its Dedicated Service and Contributions to the foundation. 
  

2007:

• ARAMARK was named the 2007 Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance (MFHA) "Corporate Champion." A founder of MFHA, ARAMARK is a member of the MFHA Board of Directors and other prominent committees, is a founding sponsor of the Women of Color initiative and promotes foodservice and hospitality careers to urban and minority students through MFHA Showcase of the Stars events around the country. MFHA chooses only one "Corporate Champion" each year.

• ARAMARK, a world leader in professional services, has been recognized as one of the “40 Best Companies for Diversity” by Black Enterprise magazine, one of the nation’s leading business publications.  ARAMARK was further recognized in the top 15 companies for workforce diversity and in the top 15 companies for supplier diversity.  This is the third consecutive year ARAMARK has been named to the list.
• ARAMARK was listed in the 2007 Top 100 Employers Ranking by The Black Collegian magazine.
